Born in the drainage basin of China's Yangtze River, Tao always longed to escape the humdrum life with the common-fish.
His unique ability to mingle with the powerful elders in the school led him to meet Shu Fang Shen, a mobster goldfish with connections to Philadelphia. In spring 2007, Shu Fang helped Tao board a mob cargo vessel in Shanghai leaving for the United States (carrying illegal immigrants and more than 100,000 Bon Jovi concert t-shirts as a cover).
Upon docking in Santa Cruz, California, Tao traveled East via truck to Las Vegas — where the illegal immigrants were dropped off to work in the casinos — and Tao continued on towards the East Coast for delivery of the t-shirt shipment.
At his final destination, Tao met Bon Jovi during a routine quality inspection of the merchandise and they instantly became friends. Tao is currently Senior Manager of Bon Jovi’s fan club and feels that “life will continue to lead me to my destiny”.
